UC Davis Tennis Club Traveling Team Expectations
As representatives of the University, members of the Travel Team must display sportsmanship and commitment. Travel Team Members are expected to be present at all weekend practices with the exception of two excused absences, help teach one lesson at Hit-Arounds, and attend an ICA shift per quarter
ICA SHIFTS
Every Travel Team Member must attend one ICA shift per quarter. These are volunteer events for the D1 teams. These involve helping set up, making sure there is always an extra ball during a game, and helping put away equipment after a match. Our Fundraising Coordinator will send out available shifts for you to pick up and volunteer at.

How do I tryout?
Tryouts will be held during Fall Quarter at the Marya Welch Tennis Center and to tryout all you have to do is sign up and show up.
Do I have to tryout to be a club member?
No! If you want to play recreationally and aren't interested in joining the traveling team, you can still be a member of Tennis Club. In fact, the majority of our members are not part of the traveling team.
When will I know I made the team?
We will try our best to have a list sent out as soon as possible after tryouts.
